I slept in until 9:30 AM Saturday! I LOVED my weekend without obligations. I would have slept longer Saturday but my evil sister called. Apparently she didn't notice she woke me up. Oh well. I needed to get up I guess.
It was interesting that she showed up at Sunday night mass with Dad. He had been hitting the 10am mass due to his choir obligation. Choir is over for the summer so now he is back to the 5pm mass. I haven't seen my sister at mass in ages, but who should appear for mass? My sister. She does make me sick the way she sits beside him like she is his fill in wife. I know that sounds evil, but I have to let this out somewhere. It is tiring to me to have to see her act like this. I'm tired of her public displays. She always has play oldest daughter when it is convenient for her. I admit my jealousy. I enjoy my Dad when she isn't around marking her territory. I can enjoy my sister now when I'm not with her and other people. When it comes to being around others (even immediate family) she puts on a performance that seems so phony. I hope this changes.
Money is becoming a bigger and bigger problem. I don't know why I gave in and got those doors installed when we really can't afford it. It will help keep the house warm this winter though. The old doors really needed to be replaced. Unfortunately I'm paying off a computer and some doors now on top of our previous debt. UGH. I'm going to get Quicken and get serious about tracking our finances. I did a much better job on paying off debt 10 years ago when I balanced the accounts monthly like a fanatic. I need to be a fanatic about this again. If we are this broke right now, how the heck can I take the pay cut in 2 years to become a teacher? We shall see.
