I'm very excited about leaving tomorrow. Excited but not at all ready! The kids and I have played games every night this week and I've gotten nothing done. I LOVE SUMMER! I love spending leisure time with them and not worrying about bedtime or getting up in the morning. They are enjoying it too but wish that T were home with us too. I'm excited he will be going with u us Up North for the holiday. It will be a nice change to have him there instead of home working. Now if I just didn't ache so much right now! Ugh. Oh well. Time to suck it up. "Man up Nancy" is a phrase that comes to mind and cracks me up. That and "Pull up your big girl panties and deal with it!" We have a mini vacation to look forward to and I'm excited about it!

I can not wait to hear the waves hitting the shore again. I can't wait for kids faces smeared with ice cream. I can't wait for the sun dancing on the water. I love the small town 4th of July parade and fireworks. I'm so glad to be getting away!

I don't remember if the small cherry tree in the backyard had fruit last year. It was shocking to me to see the bright red fruit yesterday. Pretty.
