Irritated

Today was pretty frustrating. On top of the doctor appointment, I had Satan watching my kids again. I live in total fear when the mother inlaw watches them. Hubby needs an ass cracking for telling me we didn't need the sitter this week.

I was trying to prepare for the start of the semester next week. I have 3 classes as opposed to my typical load of one class per semester. Be afraid for me... be very afraid. As I'm printing off things for my cooperating teacher (I'll be pre-student teaching), I get an email that tells me the University professors are officiallyy on strike. Fricken great....

Our road is still not complete. We have been 6 weeks without pavement. You'd think I'’d lose some weight from walking an extra block to my car four times a day (minimum). No luck.

I'’m depressed about the weight thing. It is sapping my energy. I am just too tired to make the effort to eat healthy. Fast food lunches are my mainstay since I'm on the road most days.

The sleep doc said I should not exercise after 3 in the afternoon. I invited him to get my happy ass out of bed for an AM workout. I am not a morning person; lack of sleep has not helped this.

My goal is to shake off this crappy depressed mood by tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Sorry to hear you're having a bad day! I'm right with you on the eating thing. Have you tried one of the prepared meal places? You go in for 2 hours, assemble all these yummy, healthy meals, and take them home to your freezer. No prep or cleanup. I've done it once -- the food was great! I'm planning to do it again in Sept. There are many different companies now, but one is http://www.dinnersready.com
