My street is still not paved. We are at the "let the concrete gutters cure" phase. Rumor has it that next week we will have the first layer of asphalt. I can't wait!!! I am seriously tired of dragging my happy ass down the street to get to my Hoopty (which I am not thinking of getting rid of but which I should consider fixing). Next week is a BIG week! The kids go back to school (Daddy accomplished the haircut mission yesterday -- can I get a whoop whoop?). I start back to school as well. I am also starting my pre student teaching -- I spend 1/2 a day a week observing and helping out in a high school classroom. I can feel myself getting hipper already! I can't wait! I am horrible at remembering names, so there is the fear factor to keep it exciting. It will be strange to be the learner vs. in a teacher role. I hate feeling stupid so I'm a little freaked out that I'll do something stupid. I don't know what kind of stupid thing I'll do -- but plan on me feeling like a moron and writing about it by the end of the week.
I slept until 8am today AND got a nap. YIPPEE!! Between that and the chiropractor I feel so much better!!!!
Tomorrow we go to Satan's house to celebrate my mute father inlaw's birthday. Big yippee (not). We have to be there at noon. There is not enough Dunkin Donuts coffee on earth to perk me up for this event.
Our other weekend mission: Back to School clothes. My kids would rather be boiled in vomit. (Where did that horrible image come from???? -- Must have been from thinking about going to Satan's lair...).
