I went to the doctor and got great news -- no pneumonia! I either have kept the bronchitis I had or traded it in for a newer model. They were out of flu shots so I was unable to kill multiple birds with one stone. The bonus was that I was given samples for the antibiotic (yay for saving money!) and a prescription for the night cough medicine I took last year (it actually helps me sleep!).
Prior to last year's pneumonia (first time I ever had it -- YIKES is all I can say), I never had cough medicine with vicodin in it. I took some last night and slept for the first time in two weeks. There was a little left in the bottle from last year and it wasn't expired. My doctor liked the idea of me sleeping, and so she is having me take the strong stuff at night. I told her I didn't need much, just a small bottle vs. the mega bottles they usually give you when you get prescription cough medicine. I figure that if I need a refill on the small bottle then I need to see the doctor again.
If I can just make it through this week things will slow down quite a bit. Heck, if I can just make it through tonight's homework I'll be okay! Why is it that I can not motivate for my Assessment class? I hate it. Remind me not to challenge myself next time. I picked a non standard type of class to teach my unit and now I'm paying. I wish I'd done a simple Literature class as my lesson unit... but no, I picked Public Speaking. Off to write my exam for my imaginary students!

Good luck with it. Glad you slept, sorry it was at the cost of having the cold/flu/bronchitis. Ugh. Feel better.

So glad to read you got a good night's sleep. REALLY sorry you're sick. I had a dandy case of bronchitis a couple months ago and it was so stubborn. Finally got rid of it though. Hope yours goes away soon.
