It is done. I turned in my student teaching application yesterday. I am relieved to be done with it and to finally be at this stage in my certification. I went back to school (I already had a degree) in 2001 and took a class at a time (so that I'd raising kids and working full time). The drive was beautiful. Even looking out the review mirror gave me a stunning view of the sun shining on ice. Check the dirty rear view mirror:
I did not want to go to work.... I wanted to drive around and take pictures all day.
You should have seen the pretty glistening of the ice on those tree branches. A sunny day following an ice storm sure does reveal a ton of winter beauty.
I was glad to have heat in my car.
Every weed looked like a glass sculpture.
I felt bad for the trees though... some didn't take it so well. There are lots of branches and trees down. I hate when that happens. My class is canceled for tonight. I can use the time to get my homework done for my other class. I went to bed early last night. Hubby had to watch American Idol. I can't stand that show when they show the really bad singers. It is pretty mean if you ask me. I just feel sorry for those bad singers. The remind me of the broken trees.

I'm always enraptured by what people can find from their everyday lives. Its also weird seeing all this ice and snow when I can't walk for 5 minutes outside without breaking into a dripping sweat! Great work again.
Wow. It's been warm here - though it is getting colder. Your ice storm photos have been gorgeous these last two days!
Beautiful!
You cracked me up with the "they look like the broken trees" when describing American Idol - too funny!
