Flu not gone....

Okay, I was crazy nuts in my last post when I celebrated the flu going away. It was just sleeping. Silly me! It is colder than I can stand and the flu has yet to to leave me. I'm not throwing up or anything, I'm just crazy weak and tired...

I took Hubby for his MRI today. He saw the orthopedic surgeon this week and it is looking like he will have to have shoulder surgery. It is strange to have him be the one that will be gimping, usually that is my role. He is somewhat freaked out -- but not so freaked out that he isn't trying to hurry things so he can be healed up for the outdoor soccer season!

M (my brother's wife) is having a hard pregnancy. We are not certain she will make it to viability due to a thinning cervix. I hope and pray that her doctor hospitalizes her soon.... She is a strong woman that is not good at taking it easy. She does not even realize she is on her feet -- she just does things without thinking. I wish my brother stayed home all day to help her REST. I remember bed rest and how hard it is to be compliant. But you know it is frightening when the doctor says he does not want her to come once a week to the office yet -- he doesn't want her exerting herself to make the trip. She is due at the end of May.

A friend of the family (who is due at the same time as my sister) looks like she will be losing her baby. There are major kidney function problems. I feel so bad for her. My prayers go up for her and her husband... I don't know what the doctors will do...

My sister seems to be doing well with her pregnancy. Hubby's sister is doing well too. My neighbor had a baby girl this week. There are babies all around me. I want a puppy but will wait.

I need to start my homework now but I am not motivated... Once the week starts I'll never have time... but the couch calls me... I am tired. Soccer tomorrow... must rest now... so many babies to pray for...

Well, I'm on my 2nd round of antibiotics myself. Finally this seems to be knocking out the bug I've had since December.

I'm sorry to hear about all the pregnancy problems around you. Lots of prayers going out to them. Having been through several losses myself, I know how stressful and painful that can be.

Doll, all your friends and loved ones have my best good wishes. And thanks for the kind words over yonder.

How coincidental: The hubby had shoulder surgery on Wednesday. He had torn bursa (spelling) and something else. It was all orthoscopic and they gave him his anti-nausea meds. He did so well.
Compared to 2 weeks before when he had his knee surgery (torn miniscus)

He's the bionic man.

My youngest daughter had the kidney problem with her baby. At about six months she had to have a stint placed between her kidney and bladder. It was a tough time. She doubts she'll ever have a second child.

Positive thoughts for your recovery from the flu in time to be helpful to your man.
