Another Niece!

My husband's sister delivered a tiny wonder into the world this morning shortly after 4:00. I saw her just two hours later. At 4 pounds 6 ounces she is the tiniest peanut I have ever seen. I marvel at the perfect toes and fingers.... her sweet little mouth that formed a smile. Her body so tiny made my heart swell so big.

She had the umbilical cord wrapped thrice around her neck when she came into this world. She showed distress yesterday and so her mommy was admitted to the hospital for observation. Soon they decided to make the plan to induce at 6am today. Baby monitors picked up distress several times through the night. Baby scared the doctors and mommy with a dropping heart rate.

Surgery was performed; the miracle of life continues.
I'm so glad we live in this day and age where a c-section can save baby's and often mommy's life. I'm grateful they are well.

We are twice blessed this week! My sister had a rough night last night -- she is due in 3 and a half weeks. May her miracle be ushered into this world with a little less excitement!

Two new babies in the family -- welcome babies! You are so loved!!!!
