My son (who is 8) is experiencing his first real crush (besides the obsession he had with Snow White between 3 and 6). He likes a girl who is in 5th grade no less! We had a great chat about it -- he was pondering whether or not to tell her he liked her. After a short discussion it was decided that it might not be the best idea for a 3rd grader to tell a 5th grader that he likes her. I am relieved that he decided this -- I would be so sad if he got ridiculed by the object of his affection.
Oh to be young and in love!

Today was frustrating -- got a new hard drive for my work computer. I've lost all my files and must start over. Getting my computer back to snuff is a pain in the butt. I have learned my lesson, backing up data is important and computers WILL fail as soon as you trust them. I lost a lot of papers I had saved for school. Huge bummer.
