My mother inlaw may be coming home today and it appears that surgery will be rescheduled for a week from Monday. I'm glad for her. It has taken 3 years to get strong enough for surgery -- cancellation instead of postponing would be crushing.

The pug is feeling better. Surgery has improved her well being. She has 5 different medications we must give her and 4 go directly into the eye. She hates drops. My arms are sore from holding her still while my husband puts the drops in. I can't believe she is only 10 pounds of fury.

My son has 23 days left of being grounded from TV, my daughter has about 8 days. Smart mouths need to be controlled. Ugh. Why do children crave discipline? Why must they push the envelope of rudeness and disrespect?

I'm still bummed about not getting the teacher I signed up for in my Linguistics class. Hopefully class today will be enjoyable. At least it is just 75 minutes long.... who's counting those minutes, can't be me! I do wish I had finished the reading, but it was boring. Hopefully this improves!!!
