The TV hookup was no biggie. I'm glad we spent a billion dollars on this darn computer because it does what it is supposed to without freezing or shutting down! YIPPEE!!!! Millie Update: Chronicles of the Sick Dog Summary of Ch1: Dog gets bad scratch on eye 12/26, we go to emergency vet, follow up with vet and have to do drops, pills and ointment. (We won't talk about the vet bills). Chapter 2: Millie the pug went back to the vet today. NO PROGRESS on the healing of the eye. NONE. We have been wrestling this greased pig of a dog several times a day to get the ointment and drops in the eyes. She has super human strength I tell you! And no progress. We now must take her to a veterinary opthamologist who we are told may put a lense on her eye to help it heal (after removing questionable tissue). She is just turning 2 so it is worth the investment to save this eye, but DARN IT ALL!!!! My poor pup may be having eye surgery. More to come... argh!!! (Again, we won't talk about the vet bills). Safety Tip: Wear helmet when ice skating! I forgot to remind my kids when they went skating today at the cultural center. My daughter (the daredevil) fell and smacked her head. She never lost consciousness, but we had a dandy trip to the emergency room and she has a concussion. I talked to the kids about helmets last night but forgot to remind the sitter today. I could have kicked myself for forgetting -- my sitter is great and would have insisted -- she just didn't think of it (most people don't seem to wear them at the rink). She feels like dirt about the whole thing. I just feel bad that it could have easily been prevented if I'd written myself a note instead of trusting my memory. Note to self -- WRITE DOWN the notes to self!!! Super Girl is better tonight :) We are blessed!
