It was a wonderfully lazy weekend. I used Saturday to sleep, nap, and sleep. I should have done homework and housework, but I'm over it! Sunday I got off my lazy ass and planted the bulbs my hubby was supposed to help me plant. Hyacinths, tulips, and daffodils were already sprouting in the bags -- so I planted them a tad more shallow than I normally would have. Hopefully I will have lots of blooms. It seems the heavens may want me to have blooms with all this rain we are getting! The timing could not have been more perfect!

This week I need to get my daughter a dress for her First Reconciliation. We made progress on the preparation packet yesterday -- she is not in the mood to work on this and I'm not either so this has been a real struggle. It will be the focus of our week!

My son has a huge reading contest for his class (3rd grade). They are to do an IditaREAD to coincide with the dog sled race in Alaska. They read a page per mile. This would have been easier if we didn't get him a Nintendo DS (like a gameboy) for his birthday a few weeks ago. Now he has lost his passion for reading. Hopefully the gameboy thing will get old...

I need to come up with a plan for Friday -- St. Patrick's Day! I want to do something fun with the kids (maybe even at home) Friday night. My problem is that my normally creative mind is fried from work and Linguistics class. I need to do more than just decorate. Leave ideas in comments... I could use some help!
