Daffodils are SO close to bloom! I didn't rake out the beds enough last fall, it is interesting to see the signs of spring next to the decay of last fall's leaves. I LOVE SPRING! Some rain today but I got to see the sun. Just a little sunshine brightens my mood -- even reflected on the broken glass covering the front porch! The hubby will use the shop vac to clean up so I'm just not going to worry about it. Too bad we have to buy another storm door. At least the front door window was spared. It is original to the house (which was built in 1917) - the door needs some restoration, but the large oval beveled glass is original and I would be sad to lose it.

Today is the last day my sister picks my kids up for CCD. It is nice to have it ending... And now the soccer season begins! R had his first practice Monday night and M has her practice tonight. I just want a nap -- looks like a cold coming on.
