This is what I woke up to this morning. My hubby wakes me to tell me our front storm door is shattered in a million pieces. The picture above is my door mat covered with the shards of glass. I'm thinking it must have been a BB gun shot -- some teenager maybe? The front porch has trex wood decking -- so a BB would fit through the slats. I didn't find anything but have not cleaned up the mess yet. No other houses on my street had an issue. The cars are fine. We heard nothing.

Strange thing though, the weird neighbor kid pulled his car in my driveway yesterday while I was talking to the babysitter on the front porch. The car took longer than ever to pull in and turn around. I tried not to look at him, but it got ridiculous. Odd that my storm door is completely shattered that very night.

The neighbor kid lives across the street and down 2 houses. We call it the Adams Family house because it is really creepy. Picture an old house with tons of ivy growing all over it and all the shades are drawn all the time. The kid (high schooler) wears a black trench coat all the time -- I think he does it to look creepy. The family may be involved in medieval reenactment. There are occasional sword fights in their front yard.

Nothing like broken glass pebbles to start your day!
