Millie's expression says it all. What a week.

Monday night went through stuff of my Mom's with my sister (finally). I didn't realize how manipulative she is -- she had me try something on first so that she doesn't look "grabby." She HAD to touch everything first. It didn't matter -- I'm not attached to the clothing, I'm more concerned about sentimental items.

I was pleased as punch to get an old fashioned tin that my mom kept stuff in. The tin came from my great aunt -- my Mom used it for years. My sister wanted me to take something that was in the tin so I said No, I'd rather have the tin. Love the tin -- it makes me feel more connected with my Mom's side of the family. We never really knew anyone besides her brother and sister. We went to one family reunion when I was in 5th grade... We have to sort through the rest this weekend with my sister inlaws. I hope we get things over with quickly.

I'd really like to be done with this task.
Work is sucking the life out of me on top of school. We are in the busy time of year so I'm traveling and doing assessments. It is tiring. To have that sucky linguistics class to top it off is not ideal. The educational technology class is cool and enjoyable. I hope the curriculum and methods classes are half as fun. Having a heavy work and school load right now makes me super tired. I had to do 2 extra business assessments for my brother who was out of town. Doing 2 a day is killer and I have 3 tomorrow. Shoot me.

I can't wait to be done with these damn assessments and back to regular evaluations (you can do 4 per day vs. 2).
To top off an exhausting week we have Fun Fair at the kid's school tomorrow. Dammit. If only I had more energy for this. I'm eating yogurt for breakfast instead of bagels now. Not as fun but hopefully it will steady my blood sugar (still have had the diabetes test the doc wanted -- not sure if I can deal with that kind of issue at present). My goal is to get through tomorrow so I can rest on Saturday. I need to work out... my body needs exercise and weight loss. Bass Ale sure tastes yummy right now. Still not smoking but I'm still wheezing -- what is up with that???? I just have to make it 3 more weeks and then the wonderful relief of spring semester off! I can do it.... I know I can....
