It is warm outside and cold here in the work dungeon. I am tired and want a cigarette. How did 2 weeks of smoking bring back my desire so strongly. UGH. I guess there are worse things. Now I know that I can't follow my rule of "if I have to go to a funeral I get to smoke a pack." One pack became 3 and now 4 as I will be getting a pack at lunch to hold me through the end of my class. Then I'm done. Really. I've been done before. Quitting smoking is easier than dieting (which is a lot easier when you are smoking). Why are the things I like so bad for me?

Pain level = worse. I'm not getting enough sleep as I do this marathon class. Only 2 more days! Lack of sleep always makes my pain worse. I am going to be so relieved when this is over!!! The workload has been unbelievable. I need to exercise again. I think I can....

M is in her first soccer tournament this weekend. 4 games for certain -- maybe 5. I will miss the first 2 because of my class. I need to think of some thing to do for my son R. He is 9 and will have to suffer through attending each game. I love doing to these games, but I sure hated going to those of my siblings when I was a kid. He's a good kid, but this is a lot for him to have to tolerate.

Last night the kids and I read the first two chapters of Prince Caspian from the Chronicles of Narnia. It gave me a huge taste of summer memories. I loved reading the Chronicles of Narnia as a kid and I read them over and over. I read the first three books to my kids last summer but we had to stop when school started because we were just too busy. In just a month we will be in the happy throes of summer where life's obligations do not bind us. I love when school ends and I love when school starts.

I have not planted my flowers yet. I simply don't have the cash -- usually I plant about 15 flats. I am frustrated about the money thing. T is saying he thinks they will be able to pay themselves next week. That is what he told me this week. Frustrating!

Hopefully you will have a wonderful weekend.
