It was a crazy busy weekend. M had a soccer tournament so there were 4 soccer games (2 on Sunday in that amazing 90 degree heat). I had class Friday 5-9 and Saturday 9-4. I am tired but am glad that all I have left is the take home final (basically a 10 page paper). I have to sharpen my skills though -- this professor is hung up on the AMA citation format vs. the MLA that I have always used. I have come to realize that I'm a little too grade driven. I'm 37 years old and still trying to prove myself. What is up with that?

I'm frustrated because I had to dip into the home equity line of credit again. Our bank balance went into the negative today and I'm hoping nothing bounced. My Dad told us Friday we are getting raises. That will help. I can't stand this feeling of backsliding.

It has been a week without a cigarette and I would still gladly kill for one.
