I am happy my French doors and bathroom window were installed yesterday! They are the kind with the blinds between the window panes. I LOVE THEM. See picture above -- this is not my house, but my doors are similar. How nice not to have the blinds on the door -- no more slapping on the door as you close it. The blinds are between the panes, it is pretty cool! It almost feels civilized. My new triple pane (with the blinds in them) window for the bathroom excited me since I will no longer FREEZE in the winter. The old window didn't close all the way and was a single pane -- no storm, no screen. I like the casement window but pretty much hate the look of the screen on the inside of the window. I'm thinking of removing the screen since we tend to use the air conditioning in the summer anyway. Now we just need to paint the trim around the windows and then pain the French doors. No rest for the weary.
4:29pm This work day will not end. I even had a nice break this morning when I went home to get my sweatshirt. I was freezing my ass off and could take it no longer. Damn am I tired. I'm skipping the vacation meal planning meeting tonight with my sister and brother's wives (I don't like to call them my sister inlaws since my husband's sisters give this title a bad connotation for me). Anyway, MB said she'd let me know what I'll need to do. She stopped by the office to see my brother and told me I looked like shit. I've got 3 thermal care heating pads going for the achy joints, my make up is gone, my hair looks like hell. My clothing is wrinkled and I'm glad I was in the office today vs. facing the public. Tomorrow I'll have to venture out. Hopefully I will feel better. I'm quitting smoking again (why do I keep starting back?). I also need to get back to exercise. The only way I'll feel better is to eat better and exercise, I just don't have the energy to do either. The chronic pain cycle sucks.
