TODAY is the day. I will not be distracted by petty things like employment duties. No, today is the day the hunter will catch the prey. I will find a way to excavate the homestead of the detritus of the last 2 weeks (I have not cleaned for the better part of 2 weeks due to the weekend trip and this lingering migraine that won't quite go away).
Yes, today Mr. Cord is your last day of freedom. I will find you. And when I do find you... I will do a wicked victory dance the likes of which you have never seen. Oh yeah... I'm going to find you.... right after I finish my coffee!!!!
UPDATE: The elusive cord -- he has been captured! I have now been able to download my photos from the past 2 weeks. This photo is from camp. It is fun how people decorate their sites with various Christmas lights and such to make them recognizable at night. I hope to be able to work up the nerve for camping once I have summers off. For the present, visiting works for me just fine!
Today we have rain. It was sad to see the construction men show up and then leave within minutes. Though the dogs seem happier without the noise today. Week 5 seems to have gotten to them.Later today Wonder Girl has a soccer game. Hopefully the rain will stop. They love playing in the mud. I remember feeling the same way as a kid. She is subbing on a CYO team and tonight they wear the WHITE jersey and shorts of the home team. What are the chances of me getting this uniform clean ever again?
Now that my bold proclamation worked out so well on finding the cord (it fell behind the bench at the front door), I'm thinking it is time for another bold proclamation.Today I MUST buy a winning lottery ticket. I WILL go and pick up my Mega Millions ticket today. I don't need the whole jackpot, just a piece. Hubby still is without work and my paycheck is pretty darned stretched! I WILL buy that winning ticket! Wouldn't that be fun?
