Okay, let's pretend the sun is coming up. At 5:43 the night sky is still black vs. pink like the other night. Anyway.... there is something to be said for being the first person up and out of bed in the house. I LOVE IT!I am not a morning person, but getting up first has a huge advantage. I have the house all to myself for an hour. Even the dogs have not stirred yet -- the both just glanced at me as I walked by with my wet hair. "What's up with her?" was the look in their eyes.
Somehow it is easier to face the chaos of the day when I can ease quietly into it... Waking up first makes me feel less behind and more ahead. It is a nice feeling! I will have to discipline myself to do this more often. The only problem is that I will crash later. I woke every hour last night. I get to start filling in my sleep log now for my October appointment. Maybe I'll get better sleep tonight... This should be interesting!
Off to enjoy the quiet!

Beautiful picture! I love getting up early although I rarely do it unless I have to because I also love staying up until the wee hours.
I need to get up -- if just to see the sunrise.
We only are alotted so many in this lifetime... and to sleep throught it seems irrevant.
Now, if I can just convince myself of this.. yaawwwwwwwwwn!
