I am better now. Yesterday's post was written while I was still pretty frantic... I admit it. Now I'm too tired to be frantic...
Hubby's stupid alarm started going off at 5am today and went off again every 10-15 minutes until I finally got out of bed at 8:00am. At this point I wanted to kill him but did not have the energy. I'm still considering ways to make him pay. What the heck? It is on the other side of HIM and wakes ME up. And he doesn't even hear it. The morning people on the radio chat happily and interrupt my dreams. I like the radio station, but I'm starting to hate these people too!
I've got to talk to him more about this. He's killing me lately on the sleep thing. Maybe I should take HIM to the sleep clinic with me. Maybe HE can wake them up with his gas after he eats onions (try going back to sleep after your husband's stinky bum has woken you up! I had to flee to the couch Friday night!). He's promised not to eat onions anymore.
This morning he acted like this radio / snooze button fiasco is no big deal. I'll going to have to devise a plan to help him "get it." Five hours of sleep isn't enough for me. I went to bed at 1:00 because it took me that long to be tired enough to sleep. Stealing my sleep time with his alarm is cruel. I must make him understand this.... or make him pay. (insert evil cackle)

If you need to sleep alone to get rest, don't feel badly about it. Just do it.
If your partner is a rough sleeper you have to move to a more peaceful environment in the house.
Oh, sleep deprivation is awful! Had a friend w. similar problem to yours and she took one of kid's soccer whistles to bed w. her, and each time hubby's snooze went off, she blew it in his ear. He soon changed his alarm patterns. But I'm not sure how well he can hear now. LOL, ~v
So thankful you are calmer!!!
I think we are married to the same man! Gah. I've woken up in the middle of the night to my hubby's loud farts and stinky gas. I keep telling him that he's no longer allowed to eat people food!
They really don't get how that sort of stuff really takes the romance and magic out of the relationship.
I am glad you feel better!! As for the husband and his evil alarm clock (and stinky onion bum), maybe HE should go sleep on the couch! My husband likes to set his alarm way earlier than necessary and I have to wake him up so he can turn it off!!! So, basically, I feel your pain on that one!
Sending slumbering thoughts!
Carrie
