Last spring Wonder Boy lost his glasses. Glasses are not cheap. I was not thrilled. Wonder Boy was instructed to find them. He searched. We searched. I searched. The glasses could not be found. Anywhere. I was sad. He was sad. We were sad. I could not afford new glasses for him (nor did I want to buy a new pair when I knew that the old ones would be found). I did not buy him new glasses. He made his bed and was forced to lie in it. Summer came and Wonder Boy continued to squint. The glasses were never found. Finally, I saved up and got him a new pair prior to school starting. He was happy and could see. That was 2 months ago. Thursday he found his glasses. They were in the pocket of his winter coat...... Apparently they survived the washer and a summerin storage. Now he has a back up pair of glasses....
Now if we could just find his darn recorder for music class at school.... I know when I break down and buy another that we will find the old one......
