MSUGal86, tagged me too! I am to write a list of six weird things about me. She will be sorry she asked! I am limiting the list to the six, know that there are many more weird things about me (I think sharing more might give you nightmares though!). I am weird, read no further if you can't take it...
1. I’ve spent the last 5 years taking more college classes so that I can get a lower paying job. I already have a degree so my tuition is at grad school prices as I work toward teaching certification. If this doesn’t certify me as weird, what does?
2. I like cemeteries. They are peaceful. I never thought I’d be a person who would visit a loved one’s grave. I was wrong. I like going there and do so often – even if I just drive through the winding roads. The trees are so pretty.
3. I played Dungeon and Dragons in high school with a few friends. I was just a fringe player late to the party, but I went to that party…. Really.
4. Like Lisa at Women Having It All, I HATE shopping. I worked retail management for 10 years. That alone makes me hate people and crowds. I have found shopping online to be healing...
5. Frozen corn. I have eaten frozen corn in the frozen state. It is sweet and refreshing to the pallet. Why did I ever try frozen corn to learn this? I am ashamed.
6. I am comfortable in hospitals and nursing homes. I’ve spent so much time there that I am comfortable and good at it. I can find the best coffee and get you the best care you will ever need. One of the biggest compliments I ever got was a nurse at the hospital who asked me what hospital I was a nurse at. I have the experience and understand their language – those people have great stories! No, I am not a nurse -- but I play one on TV.

i love that you are following your passion regardless of salary to be a teacher. but i did laugh at how you framed it about going back for a degree that will get you a lower paying job. All the second careers I contemplate would get me once again no money. oh well.
i never thought about it before you said it, but i feel that way about cemetaries too!
wow, i love finding a companion in my hatred for shopping. Thank you pants that come in the mail.

Yup... and frozen blueberries.just put em in the freezer and then take them out and snack on them.. yum
