It is so cold this morning that I fear going outside to even start the car. The dogs are not even bothering to get up to go outside -- they are snuggled into their beds and happy. Above is Millie enjoying the snow last year.
Hubby's car is parked behind mine so I'll have to move it too. ICK! Neither one of us wanted to risk parking on the street last night -- who needs a ticket? That and the fear of a crazy driving fool sliding into our vehicles... sometimes it is worth it to move the 2nd car in the morning. The upside is that the new snow is gorgeous! Taking extra time for the snowy drive cuts into my sacred sleep, but the sacrifice isn't as bad when the view is pretty.
I'm in a great mood because I don't have to travel again for work until January! What a huge relief! It is also wonderful to be up and awake before everyone -- having the house to myself as I putter along to get ready for the day.
Hopefully I can finish my paper due tonight on my lunch hour. What is it with me and procrastination lately?

It always freaks me out when you guys are in snow and ice, and we're in hot dry drought!
I, like you, am the king of procrastination. Oh wait a minute.. you'd be the queen then wouldn't you... I think.. actually, I'll thin about it tomorrow.
