According to some unreliable sources, today is the most miserable day of the year. Not knowing this, I spilled hot coffee all over my coat and car this morning. As I leaned over to clean it up I spilled my breakfast shake on my coat and scarf. Covered by sticky, I walked through the snow into work. I then noticed that my hem fell out of my slacks so my pants dragged in the snow and got nice and salty and wet. Once inside the office I took off my coat and got shake on my shirt.
I had the happy task of trying to clean myself up (and clean my coat and scarf!) before anyone got here. I felt like a movie. One dumb thing after another happened, none of them a big deal -- but when you added them together you had a Saturday Night Live type skit about me being a total dork. I was waiting for cheesy music to play in the background.... none came. Then I did a little web surfing and saw a link to the story about today being the most miserable day of the year. I laughed! If this is as bad as it gets I'll be grateful!!!

Isn't that bizarre. Talk about not taking a worldly view, because on our side of the planet, its the day with the most sunshine! LOL.
