Every year this week we have a day where you can go outside in a light jacket followed by blizzard conditions the very next day. I know this because when I had my daughter on 2/26 I went to the hospital in a light jacket and came home in a winter parka. The following year on 2/21 I went to the hospital
again in a light jacket and came home in a winter parka. Birthday week for my babies is always a weather roller coaster. This week -- not so much. I am not complaining -- I can survive without the blizzard.

We made it up to the 40's today. There must be a blizzard coming that the weather people don't know about.... it happens every February like clock work I tell you! Eleven years straight.... I better find my gloves again..... where is my long underwear....

This family looked like they were having so much fun last week -- who would think you'd see a family having so much fun on the frigid lake shore in FEBRUARY? I was happy for them.... and jealous as I went back to work that day...

I'm very much enjoying the frigid pictures. Frozen waves... well like you said, you can't tell where the ice stops and the water begins.

Wow - the choppy water photo!!
This is beautiful! You must be in New England, right?
Think midwest Ruth!
I love taking photos on the lake shore but usually don't get to go there often enough... kind of a long drive.
