Today

Today the snow came down again. I wrapped my scarf around my neck and trudged out to my car. I was grateful for the automatic car starter my husband gave me as a gift 3 years ago. As I stood with slush cooling my feet, I opened the car door and was greeted by a lovely gust of warm air. I closed my eyes and momentarily felt the warm breeze of summertime at the lake...

I look forward to summer warmth and freedom... above is the picture that came to mind... I will be on the beach above in July.... I have gone there again in my mind. This is why I cling to my camera and drag it along... looking at that picture I am swept away to a deserted beach with my kids. I hear them giggle as the water licks their toes... the world is far away and we are at peace...

That looks like a perfect place. Can I go, too?

I noticed you're down 20 lbs. Congratulations!
