Rain.

Today it rained. It rained a lot. It rained into my first floor remodeled beautiful bathroom. It was the prettiest room in my house. It rained and seeped through the drywall seams. It rained. It rained. It rained.

A few years ago we used the money from my settlement on my car accident to remodel that bath. Now I have wet walls an a ceiling fan on my tile floor. I have mold worries and a backyard that is several inches deep with water. I won't go into the garage to check flood damages.

My car had an engine light go on this morning.... and it ran rough. I stopped back home and took Hubby's car since work required me to drive all over the state today. In the rain. Yay. Hopefully the light will go off tomorrow.

I didn't sleep last night. I was nervous about student teaching -- I report next week. I must get my work done this week. No pressure. Today was a 13 hour day.... Hopefully I'll have energy next week?

The rain brought on a migraine this past weekend. I was only semi functional -- though I did rally for Super Girl's soccer tournament.

I also have an ear infection. I see the doctor tomorrow. Yay!

Hubby still does not have a job. Unemployment runs out in a few weeks as I begin student teaching. Yay.

None of that matters.....

We are well. The kids are not sick. Hubby is not sick. I am not that sick. I saw a wonderful sunset on Thursday.... (picture above). I think back to it, and am grateful. I am also grateful that the Christening gown is on it's way! 100+ years in the family -- it is being shipped to me for my Goddaughter's Christening!

Life is good!!!!

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear about all the rain problems. Could ya send some of the rain down our way? Major drout conditions here... and temps at 100 or higher for about 2 weeks. UGH.

But you are right, all is well. And that is a beautiful sunset. You get the best pictures!
