Yesterday my son (3rd grader) was a newscaster in his school's TV broadcast of the morning announcements yesterday. He was so darn cute I could hardly stand it. I was able to videotape it and I'm thrilled. I need to remember the video camera more often! It was one of those Life is Good kind of moments. I envy those stay at home mom's a lot, I knew the gig has drawbacks, but I am jealous. I'd love to be able to go to the school and be more involved. It is fun. I'm glad I was late to work yesterday so that I could do this. I also loved the Valentines my kids got me -- I simply treasure them.

I also was shocked to get my test back in Linguistics -- I did well. That was the shock since memory is not serving me since the stroke. This is a memorization type class. I understand the concepts and can execute -- I just need my reference materials or I'm screwed.

Still not smoking! I've lost a pound in the last month. I guess I should pick up the pace!
