YIPPEE it is a snow day! Whoop! WHOOP! (as Super Girl would say -- but I haven't yet woken her so she hasn't yet said it). I don't have to go to the high school today. As much as I love it there, I didn't want to deal with traveling there in the early AM in all of this snow. I will make up the day when they get back from break (those lucky ducks have next week off!) I'm actually happy to have the opportunity to go to my day job and catch up. Being behind stresses me out and I'm WAY behind.
Thank you to my friends here who reassured me that my doctor's office acted like any other due to the privacy laws when they didn't leave a message on my test results. I didn't think of that in my rush to jump to unnecessary worry (and I wonder why I'm starting an ulcer this semester!). Anyway.... other than the stomach issues, nausea, and regular pain stuff -- I'm pretty healthy! It was exciting to hear that my cholesterol and sugar are good -- I feared these numbers.
Hubby will be off with the kids today (he is not working lately, we really miss his paycheck). I am jealous of the three of them and whatever plans they hatch to entertain themselves. I am VERY jealous of sleeping in. I guess it is time to find something decent to wear to work... maybe the home bound could do some laundry here..... Hmmmmmmm........

we were both homebound as well today. I wanted to get all kinds of things done today , but so far we have just goofed off.
no snow here... we've been forgotten.
