Lumpy...

Today I messed up at work. I was also late for a meeting on student teaching next fall (after driving like a maniac in a car chase movie to get there on time). I am a perfectionist who is having a big fat case of NOT being perfect or even close to it. I'm fine if other people mess up but can be hard on myself. Why is it when I mess up it is in front of those whom I would like to impress (at work and school!)?

I still need to call the doctor on the lump thing, but it just didn't happen. Hubby was so sweet tonight. He reminded me and apologized for reminding. He knows I'm a little stressed lately and wants to be supportive... but he still wants me to get checked. I know I need to, but if you are a lumpy chick it is hard to get excited about going in to get checked. I will call on Monday. I know if it is an issue I want to find out quickly. It is probably not an issue since it hurts. Can't believe that I'm appreciating something being painful. I've been battling pain since 2001 and now I'm relieved to be IN pain. Strange world.

My uncle did well with surgery! YIPPEE!!! My brother is hanging in there... I think... still praying on that one -- thanks for your prayers too! My other brother's wife is doing okay on bed rest. My pregnant sister is doing well (and not too whiney!). Hubby's pregnant sister is doing well. I am doing a combined shower for 2 of the three pregnant chicks in the family. Tomorrow is my big day to plan and pull that together.

I went way off diet these last three days (wow, I forgot how much I like McDonald's Hot Mustard sauce!).

Tomorrow is a new day.
I will work on my handouts and lesson for class on Monday.
I will play with my kids.
I will take pictures!!!

I saw the sun today.
I watched some snow melt.
I heard a bird sing.
Tomorrow I will sleep in.
Yes, I will sleep in!
