Here are my postcards! We just got home and I'm too wired from driving to sleep. These photos were taken on my walk out on the pier to the lighthouse... quite a walk! What an amazing place to view a sunset! Yes -- I managed to sneak in a sunset between painting furniture, stripping furniture, and taking long bike rides (okay, just one bike ride, but it was 14 miles!!). What a glorious trip -- wish it didn't have to end so soon.
Tomorrow is my big day in court! I am scheduled at 9am. My ticket is for speeding. I'm guilty. The clerk wouldn't take my check, she insisted that I fight it so that my insurance rates don't go up. Nice lady. Wish me luck! I'm going to ask the judge to "take it under consideration" and just let me pay the fine (without points going on my record). The ticket is for 5 over -- I deserved worse. Wish me luck anyway ;-)
