Thanks for the prayers -- my mother inlaw is not only out of ICU, she is home! WOW! She is like the Energizer Bunny. She keeps going and going!We are still broke. No lottery winnings here... but I'm happy to report we got our heathen selves back to church this weekend. I feel better as a result, it amazes me how much better I feel about life when I actually attend church. Now that I've got Godchildren on top of my own children, I need to kick it into gear. Of our trifecta of new nieces Hubby and I have all three covered as Godparents. I could not be more honored.
Out of the blue my brother asked my Hubby to be his daughter's Godfather. How cool is that!? I'm so excited for him. He is TICKLED! My brother is not one to be close with family -- he tends to lean on friends. It is nice that he looks at my husband in such a favorable light as to choose him. I'm so happy about this.
Today I register for my fall student teaching. I have put it off fearing the tuition. I'll be dipping further into our home equity line of credit... Oh well. What can you do? I look good poor, right?
I can't believe I'm 4 weeks from student teaching! WOW!
