We escaped from the daily grind! Another quick trip to the north and I even got to enjoy a sunset last night on the water. I can not believe how healing it is to my soul to watch the sunset on the big water. When my kids were little they would see the lake and shout "Big Water!" Life moves on, but I still live for that first glimpse of the big water!
Someday I will bring a tripod and I will take this photo right.... for now, I rested my camera on the ledge and was happy to capture the colors which painted the sky. I don't think I could ever get tired of this view....
