"When I put 2 peas on my fork and move my fingers like this.... it looks like a creature doesn't it?"And you wonder why I call him Wonder Boy?
Who else can cheer you up like this when you have had the double whammy flu? I'm on day the thankyouverymuch. How can this be day three of my third bout with the flu this season (and by double whammy you can picture my meaning I hope?). I got the flu shot this year and I've been down for the count more often than anyone I know! If I could keep something down or in I might not feel so weak and silly. Then again I might not appreciate Wonder Boy's creature if I had sanity left....
Maybe ginger ale.....

hi grim girl. thanks for leaving me a comment recently and reminding there is a world outside my life. i'm so consumed with the day to day that i forget sometimes.
i hope this is the last of the flu for you, and that being visited three times this year means that you get at least the next two years off!
I think the pea creature is very creative. Reminds me of when I was a kid, and all the fun I use to have with my mashed potatoes and peas. Only my mom would not have taken a picture of it, what a cool mom you are!!
Hope you feel better from this God awful flu. We all had it over mid-winter break, despite having flue shots. Did not help us at all. We all took tamiflu, and wondered how much worse it could have possibly been, without it. It was ROUGH. I hope you feel better soon.
REST, Drink lots of liquids and read! Take care.
XOXO
snort!!
Three lots of flu...?!? Oh goodness! That's horrid for you!
here, let me just order up a whole case of your favourite ginger ale for you... [giggles happily].
Children have a unique way to cut thru the "adult bull$#it stuff" and see things so simply. i love it. Thanks for sharing yet again, Ma'am.
