I welcome spring!

The first day of spring! It felt like spring last week at the beach. Today I went outside and saw nothing but blue sky. It made me happy to think about the spring days to come. The flowers are a long ways from peeking through... but at least the snow if melting! We are almost through Easter week too!

I am in a much better mood because I realized that I only have 5 more weeks of school!!!! YIPPEE!!!! Hubby and I had a good heart to heart chat today.... he is starting to see the need for change. He agrees he needs to get back to the counselor on the depression. He agrees that he MUST get off the night shift (even if it means getting 2 jobs) to get his health back. He is a morning person and this shift has been terrible for his health. This recognition by him of what has been obvious is huge progress! Thanks for the prayers... this too shall pass.

The pug seems to be on the mend! Orders are that she take it very easy.... hopefully we can restrain her and thus avoid having to go to an orthopedic veterinarian. Can you just imagine that expense? I don't believe I have enough room on any credit cards for that! I'd love to avoid having to ask my dad for money if I can....

We have been running like crazy people all week. It is nice to be going home and staying there tonight! I think I'll get a jump on cleaning to help ready the house for spring. There is nothing like a clean home to brighten the mood.

Tomorrow night I think will be egg coloring night.... should be fun! We will continue the family tradition on eggs... more on that later!
