Hectic

So, the job leads are not blooming. We are following up and reaching out and that is all you can do. Hopefully it will pay off.

Wonder Boy is really cranky from lack of sleep. We start keeping the log tonight to track it for the sleep doctor (like mother, like son).

Super Girl has been in physical therapy for over a month with no progress. We are scheduled for a Friday MRI to determine if the tendon is torn (in which case surgery will likely be needed). I'm concerned but not freaked out. Then it freaks me out that I'm not freaked out since freaking out is my nature and will I DOOM her if I don't freak out??????????? I am glad to have good medical coverage with my employment.

The Pug is hurt. I don't know what happened, but starting yesterday she would put no weight on her back leg. Hubby has her at the vet now. I'm afraid for her and afraid of the vet bill. We do not have medical insurance on the dogs.

Wonder Boy has a school music program this week. Super Girl has a religious education activity the night of my night class. Hubby is running his butt off getting kids and dogs to all of these appointments while I'm at work.

School will be off for spring break next week. Hubby is sleep deprived and I work days. My poor kids... I wish I had the time off to make memories with them. Their last break was a boring nightmare for them.... my goal will be to coordinate some activities to liven things up for them.

On a brighter note, I have only 6 more weeks of school!!! I like a hectic life, I just wish Hubby could have more sleep right now. Getting him onto a day shift will make such a difference!

Oh! I almost forgot! St. Patrick's Day came and went and the leprechauns did indeed visit us again. May your toilet water run green with a tradition that makes your kids smile.

I'm buying a lottery ticket tonight. Enough is enough :-)

Have you checked out the local YMCA or anything like that for spring break activities?

I know that we have special activities sponsored by Campfire, the Y, and a couple of other organizations for those times.

Pamela, I have done the YMCA (great program!) in the past but I need something that is basically free. We just can not afford anything right now. I'm going to try to start selling on ebay I think to get rid of some of my clutter and raise funds... I can't wait for my class to be done so that I can look for a part time job I can do at night to add to my income from the day job.
