Storm clouds rolled in quickly yesterday. I was glad that darkness was off to the north of me. (The photo was taken somewhere around 4pm....). I expected to lose power but am glad we did not -- many are still without power. Not fun when it is over 90 degrees!My best friend will be my nanny this summer! Can you say YAY? I'm excited to have peace of mind. She is wonderful, her kids are great too! It should be a good summer!
I am also happy that Hilary Clinton has thrown her support behind Obama. I agree with everyone -- she blazed a trail with determination and for that I respect her. May our next female candidate be less polarizing and more successful! May Obama be who we hope he is.
I am struggling a tad due to what I think is a kidney stone. I had one a few years ago, so I'm just going to wait it out. Yeah, it really hurts, but there is nothing they do for you unless the stone is HUGE. Mine is not huge because I've only been brought to my knees by the pain twice in two days. Note to self -- drink more water.....

Sorry to hear that you are in pain. I hope it passes quickly. Get some pain medication if the pain becomes too bad, no sense in hurting if you can have some relief.
I pray that OB is what he says he is, and that we can finally have hope for peace.

Your kidney stones sound similar to the three I've passed in the past 12 years-or-so. mine are small enough to actually break-up in my bladder.
But the passage from kidney to bladder is &^%$#@ painful!!!
And I always thought I had a low pain threshold too! Doctors look at me with wide eyes when i present myself before them with a kidney stone in passing! The last guy needed X-rays to believe what i was telling him! rofl.
