It has been quite the week. Dad had his big fat surgery for the abdominal aortic aneurysm (also known as the AAA!). Feel free to click on the link and see the extent of the issue... Dad is a 2 time winner at this having been a survivor of a ruptured AAA a few years back. Due to the emergency nature of the surgery they could not do the full graft, hence the return of the dreaded AAA. Dad has hit a few of the road bumps for this procedure and remains heavily sedated in the ICU. He is in good hands. Please keep him in your prayers nonetheless!
We had a more muted St. Patrick's Day.... but the leprechauns still were able to pull off green toilet water and green milk! Traditions rock! It makes me smile to think of my kids and what they will do with their kids someday!!! I must remind my siblings to add magic to St. Patrick's day with the green toilet water. Nothing says classy like a tradition that includes toilet water!
